DAY 01: BOARD TRAIN KOLKATA
DAY 02 : ON BOARD TRAIN
DAY 03 : ARRIVAL JAMMU RAILWAY STATION.
Arfter arrival transfer to Hotel in Jammu. Night stay
DAY 04 : JAMMU TO SRINAGAR (8 HRS APPROX).
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar.
Check into your hotel in Srinagar. Evening Relax and enjoy the views of Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Hotel
DAY 05: SRINAGAR – KARGIL (204 KM Approx.)
After early breakfast leave for Kargil, via Sonmarg & Zojila pass (3,528 m). Since you are driving across Zojila Pass and its route’s uncertainty, you need to reach Sonamarg early in the morning. Reach Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabited place in the World) After lunch on the way visit War memorial hall & Museum, reach Kargil by evening. Check in at a hotel in Kargil.
DAY 06 : Kargil to Aryan Valley Day Trip (Approx. 60-70 km, 2-3 hours)
After breakfast, head towards Aryan Valley, which is famous for its pristine beauty and Aryan (Dards) culture.
Explore the valley, its villages, and the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Stay overnight at Kargil.
DAY 07: Kargil to Suru Valley (Approx. 100 km, 3-4 hours)
After a morning of sightseeing, head towards Suru Valley, known for its scenic beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
You can visit places like Rangdum Monastery, and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and the valley.
DAY 08: SURU VALLEY – PADUM (200 KM Approx.)
After breakfast we will start our journey from Zanskar Valley towards Padum via beautiful Panikhar, situated in the Suru Valley is the most beautiful inhabited area in the trans-Himalayan region. On the way, we will see NUN and KUN peaks, which are approx. 7077m and 7135m. Reach Ragdum, take a small break for our lunch, and proceed via Pensi-La Pass 4,400 m, to view the mighty Drang Drung Glacier and the twin Ta Tso and Lang Tso Lake, Reach Padum by evening.
DAY 09: PADUM LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, we will start our journey for Monasteries Tour Karsha Monastery is the largest monastery in Zanskar Valley. By largest it does not mean the area, but the number of villages that are under this monastery. Quite naturally, it is also the richest monastery in the Zanskar region. Stongdey Monastery is located about 21km from Padum town towards Zangla. This is the second largest monastery in Zanskar Valley and is located over a hilltop. You can get a lovely view of the monastery from the road. The monastery was founded in 1052 AD. After that visit Sheela Waterfall and Zangla Place The place was once under the rule of kings and served as the second capital to Zanskar valley in the ancient time. After Sightseeing, Reach Padum by evening.
Day 10: PURNE TO JISPA VIA SHINKULA PASS (90 Km Approx)
After breakfast, we will start our journey for Jispa via Sinkula Pass, also known as Shingo La, is a mountain pass in India that connects the Lahaul region of Himachal Pradesh with the Zanskar region of Ladakh. The pass is 16,580 ft high and is located on the state boundary between the two regions. On the Way Mt Gonbo Rangjon is a 5,596-meter (18,360 ft) mountain in the Himalayas of India. It is located in the Lungnak valley, Zanskar, in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The mountain is considered holy and is referred to as “God’s Mountain” by local Tibetan Buddhists. After Sightseeing, Reach Jispa by evening.
Day 11 : JISPA TO MANALI VIA ATAL TUNNEL (93 Km Approx)
After breakfast leave for Manali via Atal Tunnel & Keylong, it is an approx. 3 hours’ ride. Reach Manali by Lunch Time. Evening at Mall.
DAY 12 : Transfer to Ambala for train.
DAY 13 : Onboard Train.
DAY 14 : Reach Kolkata.
